Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how MCPackCreator handles information across its Windows desktop app, website, accounts, license service, payments, and optional cloud features.
1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to MCPackCreator Desktop, mcpackcreator.net, account and activation features, optional cloud projects and sharing, feedback, and purchase records. MCPackCreator is an independent creator-operated service publicly operated by FunkyZpro in the United States.

2. Local desktop data
MCPackCreator Desktop is local-first. Project names, settings, textures, models, sounds, fonts, equipment assets, and generated pack files stay on your computer unless you deliberately use cloud save, sharing, feedback, or another online feature.
The app stores local preferences, working project state, and a license activation cache in its application-data area. The activation cache contains the account user ID, license status and source, product name, last-verification time, and expiration time. It allows up to 30 days of offline use after a successful online check.
Native open and save dialogs let you choose where project and ZIP files are written. MCPackCreator does not automatically upload those files simply because you open, edit, or export them.
3. Information we collect

Do not place sensitive personal information, secrets, private server credentials, or payment-card data inside project files, feedback reports, or support messages.
4. How we use information
- create, authenticate, secure, and support accounts;
- sell, grant, restore, verify, suspend, refund, and administer permanent licenses;
- deliver downloads and lifetime app updates;
- provide optional cloud storage, synchronization, feedback, and unlisted sharing;
- process legacy subscription status during migration;
- detect fraud, abuse, malicious content, and unauthorized access;
- debug, maintain, analyze, and improve reliability and compatibility;
- respond to support, privacy, billing, copyright, and lawful requests; and
- meet tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and other legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. MCPackCreator currently does not run third-party advertising trackers.
5. Service providers and disclosures
- Netlify hosts and delivers the public website and may process network and security logs.
- Supabase provides authentication, database storage, Row Level Security, Edge Functions, and account and license APIs.
- Stripe processes checkout, payments, taxes where enabled, fraud controls, receipts, refunds, disputes, and legacy billing.
- Email providers deliver verification, recovery, security, support, privacy, and legal messages.
- Software distribution providers may host signed installers and updates and process ordinary download logs.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, complete a business transfer, or respond to valid legal process.
6. Cloud and published projects
Private cloud projects are accessible through the authenticated account and are not made public by default. Publishing creates an unlisted snapshot link. Anyone who receives that link may view, copy, import, download, and redistribute its contents. Unlisted does not mean confidential.
Unpublishing blocks future access through MCPackCreator but cannot delete copies other people already obtained. Do not publish personal information or assets you lack permission to redistribute.
7. Storage and retention
- Local app data remains until you delete files, clear app data, or uninstall in a way that removes data.
- Activation caches expire after 30 days without successful online verification and are replaced when a new check succeeds.
- Cloud projects remain while stored in your account and may persist in limited backups for a reasonable period after deletion.
- Account and security records remain while needed to provide the account, prevent abuse, process deletion, or resolve disputes.
- License and transaction records may be retained for the life of a license and afterward as required for restoration, tax, accounting, fraud, refunds, disputes, and legal compliance.
- Provider and security logs are retained according to provider settings and reasonable operational needs.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, we will delete, anonymize, or allow it to expire, subject to backups and legal requirements.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
- Keep projects entirely local and avoid optional cloud or publishing features.
- Delete cloud projects and unpublish shared snapshots.
- Sign out, clear the local activation cache through app reset or support guidance, and remove local project files.
- Use the Stripe Customer Portal for any remaining legacy billing.
- Request account access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or other rights available where you live.
Send requests from the account email to [email protected]. We may ask for reasonable verification and retain limited records where required or permitted by law. We do not discriminate against users for exercising legally protected rights.
9. Security
Safeguards include HTTPS, email verification, optional authenticator MFA, server-side license decisions, Row Level Security, restricted database functions, signed and idempotent Stripe webhooks, native file-dialog boundaries, content-security policies, and limited offline activation caches. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur.
Use a unique password, protect your email and devices, enable MFA if appropriate, keep independent project backups, and report suspicious activity promptly.
10. Children and international processing
MCPackCreator is not intended for children under 13. Users under the age of legal majority need parent or guardian permission, and purchases must be made by someone legally able to contract.
MCPackCreator and its providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. Privacy protections may differ, and providers may use approved transfer mechanisms where required.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy for new app features, providers, laws, or practices. Material changes will be posted with a new date and communicated when appropriate.
