LEGAL
Copyright and Takedown Policy
MCPackCreator respects intellectual-property rights and responds to sufficiently detailed reports concerning publicly shared projects and other hosted User Content.
1. User responsibility
Users must own or have permission to upload and publish textures, models, sounds, fonts, images, text, code, and other content. Downloading an asset from the internet does not necessarily grant permission to redistribute it.
MCPackCreator may remove or disable access to material that reasonably appears to infringe copyright or other rights, and may suspend repeat or egregious infringers.
2. Copyright infringement notices
Send notices to [email protected] with the subject Copyright Takedown Notice. A complete notice should include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed. For multiple works, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it, preferably the exact MCPackCreator share URL and project/item name.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

3. How we respond
After receiving a sufficiently complete notice, we may:
- disable or remove the identified public project or material;
- notify the affected account holder;
- request missing information or clarification;
- preserve relevant records;
- forward the notice, including claimant contact details, to the affected user;
- terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
We may reject notices that do not identify material we host, lack required information, appear fraudulent, or do not reasonably support the claimed rights. Removal is not a final legal determination of infringement.
4. Counter-notifications
If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notification to [email protected] with the subject DMCA Counter-Notification. Include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed or disabled and its former location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States Federal District Court for your address—or, if outside the United States, a district where MCPackCreator may be found—and accepting service of process from the original claimant or the claimant’s agent.
Suggested counter-notice template
We may forward the counter-notification to the claimant. If the claimant does not notify us of a filed court action within the period required by applicable law, we may restore the material after the legally prescribed waiting period. Restoration is not guaranteed where the material independently violates the Terms.
5. Repeat-infringer policy
In appropriate circumstances, MCPackCreator may terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. We may consider valid notices, counter-notices, court outcomes, obvious abuse, account history, and other relevant circumstances. We may also act after a single severe or intentional violation.
6. Copyright contact and designated agent
mcpackcreator.net
Until a registered agent and appropriate public mailing address are established, use [email protected] or the copyright report form. This policy also accepts good-faith intellectual-property complaints that may not qualify as formal DMCA notices.
